Contact & Appointments

Get in Touch
We welcome referrals from GPs, Physiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals.
Our secure email address for referrals is: [email protected] / [email protected]
If we can assist you in any way, please call our office directly at any time. If we are unable to help, we will identify a specialist colleague who can.
The following sections explain your consultation process. Please read all sections to ensure we provide you with as much help as possible.
How To Make An Appointment
Please have your GP or physiotherapist send in a referral or consultation request via email or post to our main office at Sports Surgery Clinic, Santry.
The referral letter should state the joint affected and the duration of your symptoms, radiology results as well as any other medical history you may have. Please also include your preferred clinic location for your consultation appointment.
Our office staff handle large volumes of calls and e-mails. If you do not get an immediate answer to any call you place to us, please leave a voicemail and we will return your call at the earliest opportunity to arrange the appointment. This is sometimes the next day due to high clinic volumes.
On receipt of your referral, Professor Moran will advise if any further investigations are necessary before your consultation. Where possible we will coordinate these tests to coincide with your consultation. However please note that this may delay your appointment where extremely specialised imaging tests are required (eg. shoulder MR arthrogram) and for this reason, we will provide you with the earliest possible appointment.
Following your clinical assessment, treatment options will be explained by Professor Moran and his team.
On occasion, further imaging and related tests are required before a final treatment plan is put in place. This may require a return visit to one of our clinics.
Insurance
Professor Moran deals with all the major insurance providers where surgery is required. The charges for consultations and injections must however be settled directly at the time of your visit.
We shall be happy to provide codes for all surgical procedures performed – these may be clarified with our office staff at the time of your consultation once a treatment plan has been established.
We also provide standardised costs for procedures where patients wish to pay directly or do not have insurance cover. These charges includes hospital charges, surgical fees and anaesthetic costs and may be provided to individuals, clubs and teams following the consultation.

Treatment Options

Importance Of Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy
It is strongly advised that you link in with a Chartered Physiotherapist in your area to facilitate your rehabilitation.
